Our adventure
We're setting sail on the Catamaran 'Fantastikspirit'. Departing from Olhão's Marina, we will explore one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal, the Ria Formosa. This natural reserve is a haven for a diverse array of marine and bird species. During our journey, we'll have the opportunity to revel in the summer waters of the Ria. Whether you're up for a swim, a snorkeling adventure, paddling, or kayaking, there's plenty of ways to fully embrace the stunning landscape. And everything directly from our boat!
The route
From Olhão's Marina, we set our course towards "Ilha do Farol", also known as the Lighthouse Island. This is where we'll break for lunch, taking in the picturesque surroundings of a quintessentially preserved algarvian Portuguese island.
The culinary
We'll be having lunch at one of the island's most traditional restaurants, 'A do João'. A local favorite for over 30 years, it's renowned for delivering the freshest fish dishes in all of Algarve.
The wonders
With a touch of luck, we might even spot dolphins! Moreover, nature itself puts on a show with a diverse array of bird species, from flamingos, Peregrine Falcons, to the petite Little Terns, a common sight in the Ria Formosa region.
